The 1910 census next to his name in the number of children born says 4 and number now living says 2. By his wife, Julia's name it says 8 born and 4 living. A granddaughter is living with them. The name is almost illegible. It looks like Miskea Desonta (age 10). 06

NOTES: The 1870 census page was very difficult to read.
He was a short, cute man, with a moustache and beard that tickled his grand-daughter, Martha, when he kissed her. He was French. He was a good tap dancer. He fell down and elevator shaft in Burlington, Vermont, while visiting a friend in the hospital there. 00
His original last name was something like Clutier, Cutter or Coutier. He was probably from Quebec. He crossed the Canadien border illegally and changed his name to avoid deportation. 00
He is not buried with his wife. 00
