Halloween initially came from the church. It since has become something that the secular world has taken over in a not necessarily good way and there is a lot of mis-information in the world.
I usually add a worksheet on the sacraments so that they can remember them and don't forget. Pull one from the Sacraments Chapter. They need to memorize the sacraments as well as the prayers.
Some ideas for this class are to provide a lot of books or handouts on saints and let the students research a saint. Or give them a saint and let them learn about that saint and report on that saint to the class (you will have to calculate time for this). Another idea is to ask the students what saints they know about already and ask them to tell the class about that one.

All Saints' Day (the Solemnity of All Saints) is celebrated on November 1st in honor of all known and unknown saints. An older name for this solemnity is All Hallows. Hallows means saints or holy people. The day before All Hallows (November 1) is All Hallows' Eve (October 31). Over time, All Hallows Eve became Halloween.
The British and Irish had a custom called souling where the poor would go door-to-door and ask for baked pastries called "soul cakes." In exchange, prayers would be said for the dead of that household. The custom is credited with being the origin of trick-or-treating.
Our customs of skeletons and scary things on Halloween reminds us that we will die and we need to prepare for that day so that we can be among the saints in heaven. The scary things can also remind us that God is stronger than those scary things. Remember to pray for the households who give you treats on Halloween.
El Día de Todos los Santos (Solemnidad de Todos los Santos) se celebra el 1 de noviembre en honor a todos los santos conocidos y desconocidos. Un nombre más antiguo para esta solemnidad es All Hallows, que significa santos o personas santas.
El día anterior a All Hallows (1 de noviembre) es All Hallows' Eve (31 de octubre). Con el tiempo, All Hallows Eve se convirtió en Halloween.
