   • God's Word Psalm 103:1-5 Remind the students how God has just pardonned all their sins and how he gives us so many good things. p. 15
2. Who is God?
   • Meet Jesus The Son of God. Who is this who forgives our sins? p. 19
   • Jesus is Always With Us Does he forget us when we sin? p. 20
3. The Eucharist
   • Baptism Starts Us On Our Journey Focus on the paragraph on p.29. "You have been celebrating the Mass.. Now you are preparing to receive the Eucharist..." p. 28-29 The paragraph on the Eucharist on p. 25 is good here.
   • Our Church Family Read the paragraph at the top of the page before the "Our Church Family" Then in the "Our Church Family" focus on how we gather for Mass and the angels and saints are there, too. p. 26-27
4. The Mass
   • Entering the Mystery Using the Holy Water Font. Remind the students that when we enter the church before Mass or anytime, we use the holy water font and make the sign of the cross to remind us of our Baptism and our connection to the entire Church. p. 23
   • Go to page 138 and 139 and talk about the Mass. Cover the "Entrance Song and Greeting" and talk about the "Penitential Act" and remind them how important having our sins forgiven is. If you still have time, you can talk about the Gloria, tying it to p.19.
   • We Belong Homework at end: Go to Church and find the Baptismal font and holy water fonts. p. 33
