One thing that is a challenge is to get the students to pray their prayers daily.
This year, they will have a special prayer book.
The students must not lose it but they must take it home and bring it back to class every week.
They need to say their prayers in the morning and in the evening every day using their prayer books.
This way, they will have a resource they can always use and they will know how to use it.
The lesson plan lists the prayers to be introduced one at a time. When introducing a prayer, explain what the prayer is saying and some background to the prayer. Define words that may be new to them.
If it is helpful, I have added a file with an index and table of contents for the prayer book, since it doesn't have one. Sorry, it is is only in English right now.
Here is a form for parents to record that their child has said their prayers in the morning and the evening. This is just one way that you can do this. The idea is not only that the students learn their prayers but that they develop a habit of prayer.
Un desafío es lograr que los estudiantes recen sus oraciones diariamente.
Este año, tendrán un libro de oración especial.
Los alumnos no deben perderlo, pero deben llevárselo a casa y traerlo a clase cada semana.
Deben rezar sus oraciones por la mañana y por la noche todos los días usando sus libros de oración.
